Upcoming PC game Evolve may have proven the evolutionary theory.
After revealing hefty specs required to run the game, many testers are reporting that their gaming PCs are gaining new traits and in some cases becoming sentient.
"My Alienware started growing legs and conducting photosynthesis", said Brent Schnepper a frequenter of the /r/PCMasterRace subreddit.
Others have reported that their computers are now talking back to them, starting fires, and in one instance attempting to kill Sarah Conner.
Evolve is set for release on February 10, 2015.
